Meet The Team

Brittany is a certified breastfeeding specialist who has three beautiful babies of her own. Between them she has accumulated 42 months of personal breastfeeding experience. She came from humble beginnings where access to resources and adequate healthcare were scarce. Peer support was the main resource for lactation education. When community members started coming to her for guidance her fire for helping other mothers was lit. Brittany became a certified lactation counselor and spent the last four years helping mothers in her community nourish their own babies. This past year she became a certified breastfeeding specialist and is now working on furthering her education by studying to become an international board-certified lactation consultant. When she is not helping other families, she spends her time on her family farm with her husband, children, chickens, German Shepherd, and cats. Brittany feels honored to be a part of your motherhood journey! 

  The providers and staff at Avery Mae Pediatrics are excited to be able to partner with Brittany to help mothers reach their lactation goals. Avery Mae Pediatrics was established in 2021 with the goal of working with parents and encouraging them to be advocates for their children’s health care. We are thrilled to be able to expand our services and work with Nourish With Knowledge by offering lactation care to ease the transition from pregnancy to postpartum.
